In the Junior Boys events there were several medals won by Chiltern athletes. In the 200m Huey Chadwick won bronze in a new PB of 25.4. Ethan Kidd also collected bronze in both 80m hurdles (new best of 13.4) and in the high jump with 1.50m. Siddhant Dey won silver in the discus with 30.30m and was fifth in the 300m. Ollie Powell was third in the 300m in a PB time of 42.5.
There were also good efforts from Seb Mills (fourth in the 800m and seventh in triple jump), and Will and George Brown – fifth and sixth in the 1500m.
The Junior Girls had a 1-2 for Lizzie Barraclough and Sandie Pohlman in the 800m. There was another PB for Jemima Taswell-Fryer, seventh in the 800m in 2.35.4 and Emma Dixon ran 2.48.1 in her heat.
There was bronze for Ella Merten-Mancer in the 100m with 13.4. Jess Orr was a very good second in the 1500m in a PB of 5.06.7. Esme Deadman won silver in the discus with 20.74m and was seventh in javelin in 22.78m and Amber Hitchcock was seventh in the 75m hurdles final in a PB of 13.3.
