So Chiltern were second highest points scorers overall over the four matches, a great achievement by a team with no home track.
Under 15 Boys
There was a great performance form the U15 boys team with several wins and personal bests achieved. David Odita was in good form winning all three of his A string events with PBs – 100m in 12.00, 80m hurdles with 12.00, and long jump with 5.70m. Huey Chadwick was also in triple PB form – second in B string 100m in 12.40, second in A string 200m in 24.90, and winning B string long jump with 5.19m.
Harry Kettle won the B string 200m in a PB of 24.60, and was second in A string 300m and B string shot. There were double B string wins for Seb Mills in the 300m in a PB of 40.70 and 800m. Angus Denison-Smith ran well in the A string 800m and George Brown and Will Brown tackled the 1500m. Ethan Kidd was second in B string 80m hurdles and javelin.
Siddhant Dey won the discus with a PB of 31.60m and added fourth in the hammer and second in the shot whilst Ben Bradshaw gained PBs in A string javelin, B string hammer and B string discus
Abi Jones won A string javelin and shot, whilst Emily Baxter won A string pole vault, Becca Jones winning the B string. Amber Hitchcock won B string 75m hurdles whilst debutant Pippa Matthews won B string javelin.
In the sprints Ella Merton-Mancer gained a PB of 13.20 in the 100m to be third and there was a PB by Aleesha Offside of 28.30 in the 200m. Abi, Becca and Amber also helped with the sprints.
Charlotte Munn and Sandie Pohlman did well in the 800m (fourth and third) whilst Jess Orr (third A string) and Lizzie Barraclough (second B string) tackled the 1500m. Orla Fawcett made her 300m debut with a good run of 48.3. Versatile athletes Hannah Dickins and Ella McCarthy did well across a range of events and Maya Bhat showed good form of 13.70 in the non-scoring 100m after a long injury lay-off. Joanna Lynch, Robyn Watkins, and Jemima Taswell-Fryer also did well in non-scoring events.
Yet again the U13 boys were very impressive with A string wins for Matthew Patterson (long jump), Kristian Everiss (high jump), Cameron Reid (800m) and Angus Williams (1500m) whilst Tom Hunter won B string 800m and Harry Brandon the B string high jump..
Christian Grint made a good debut in 75m hurdles and long jump and there was the usual great effort across several events from Harry Brandon and Phoenix Everiss. Alex Burn ran a PB of 29.6 in the B string 200m and Alex Aldred was second in B string hurdles. Tom Hall ran well in the B string 1500m despite recent illness.
Seb Porter, Nathan Hackley, Alex Aldred and Matt Clifford all did well in the non-scoring 800m, with Seb and Nathan gaining impressive PBs. Alex Burn and Christian Grint both gained PBs in the non-scoring 100m.
Mia Henson in the A string 75m was the sole winner but the U13 girls had their best meeting of the league season with several good performances and PBs. Mia also gained a good PB of 20.5 in coming second in the A string 150m.
Holly Martin (B string 75m) and Lauren Armstrong (B string 150m) both gained PBs and there were good runs from Beth Welham (PB of 2.39.6) and Olivia Cameron in the 800m (PB of 2.50.5), and Emily Alderson and Jess Pullen in the 1200m. Olivia Scarles, Ellie Perkin and Annabel Black contributed well across several events. Katie Dyer (75m) and Millie Hughes (800m) also did well in non-scoring races
