The second Chiltern win of the day came in the U7 men’s race with Will Perkin prevailing in a sprint finish. Will was joined by Richard Slade in eighth and Thomas Rayner in tenth to secure team silver. The B team of Will Brown (11th), Rob Hall (14th) and David Thomas (15th) were fourth.
The U17 women were a creditable third courtesy of Rachel Padwick in sixth, Orla Fawcett in eighth and Jess Orr in twelfth.
The U15 girls team were just outside the medals in fourth place with Robyn Watkins fourth, Soraya Lockwood 21st and Beth Welham 23rd. The Under 15 A team boys were fifth with Cameron Reid 15th, Tommy Davies 17th and Edward Watson 24th. The B team of Ethan Hague 25th, Oliver Jackson 26th and Phoenix Everiss 32nd finished in seventh place.
The U13 girls race saw good runs from Millie Hughes 22nd, Katie Repper 32nd and Jinaan Lockwood 34tth and the team were eighth.
The biggest field of the day (106) occurred earlier in the day in the Senior men’s race and several Chiltern men turned out – James Repper was 40th, Ash Holmes 43rd, George Gillingwater 44th, Neil Brown 54th, and Hywel Thomas 73rd.
