At Wycombe Rye club junior Raphael Baker came home first in 21.05 and was joined by: Jay Grigson – 21.36, Tom Ayres – 25.07, Guy Johnson – 25.23, Evangelina Baker – 26.31, Doug Smith – 27.34 and Yee-King Tham – 30.50.
Kate Loach and Gary Page put in strong performances at Cassiobury park, finishing in 21.14 and 22.18, respectively.
Andrew Stewart was back in action indoors at Lee Valley on 30 January, taking part in both the 200m and 400m. He managed a 33.21 in the 200m (a season’s best) and 73.3 in the 400m.
On Sunday 31 a hardy group of Chiltern Harriers took part in the Cancer Research Winter 10k in a rainy London and were all rewarded with PBs for their efforts. Natalie Baker did well to come home in under 50 minutes – 49.08. Matt Channer finished in 50.33, joined swiftly by Paul Pearce – 50.35.
