The Under 13 girls had a fantastic race. From a large field of 268 finishers, Orla Williams led the way with a superb 13th place. She was backed up by great runs from Millie Hughes in 27th and by the Year 6 twins Abbie Henderson (24th) and Holly Henderson (32nd). The girls scored 96 points for an excellent bronze medal from 34 complete teams. Also coping well on the hilly course were Olivia Cameron (59th), Laura Williams (151st), and Jinaan Lockwood (179th).
The Under 15 Boys had just four runners – Ben Smith in 52nd , Edward Watson (144th), Oliver Jackson (183rd), and Phoenix Everiss (203rd) and they placed 25th overall.
The Under 15 Girls continued with their good season, the team finishing a creditable 7th. Sophie Morton 26th, Robyn Watkins 36th, Soraya Lockwood 93rd and Emily Alderson 95th were the scorers. Also running well were Beth Welham in 108th and Sandie Pohlman in 203rd.
There was a solid effort from the U17 men to be 7th featuring a good run from Will Perkin to be 14th. The scoring four was completed by Richard Slade (47th), Will Brown (66th) and David Thomas (91st). Also running were Rob Hall (98th), Harry Cox (108th) and George Brown (123rd). The Chiltern U17 Women had a scoring team that came 13th. From a field of 170, Rachel Padwick (58th), Orla Fawcett (71st), Jess Orr (105th) and Hannah Thear (144th), who struggled with headache and breathing problems, combined to be the scorers. Mimi Houlihan-Burne was just behind Hannah in 150th.
The Senior Men had the worst of the conditions with the soft course cutting up badly. From a big field of 1026 finishers Nick Hughes was best placed in 199th. Peter Gould was 243rd, George Gillingwater (531st), David Breingan (790th), and Trevor Brawn (1006th).
