In cool, drizzly conditions, the youngsters did very well against top class opposition.
Leading the way was Angus Williams who ran well to be third in the A string 1500m, earning a PB of 4.42.12. Tom Hunter was ninth in the A string 800m in 2.26.00.
In the sprints Thomas Job did well, ninth in the B string 100m in 14.3 and seventh in the B string 200m in 28.09. Ollie Ayres was a last minute replacement and was tenth in the A string 200m in 28.46. Christian Grint was tenth in the A string 75m hurdles in 14.1 and ninth in the A string shot with 6.95m.
The sole Chiltern girl competing was first year Orla Williams, who gained good experience, ninth in the B string 1500m with 5.20.75.
