Despite missing several athletes, the composite team of Under 17 and Under 20 athletes from Chiltern Harriers and Wycombe Phoenix, finished second in the seven-team league
There were U20 A string wins for Tim Rogers (400m), Will Perkin (1500m), Dan Weathers (2000m steeplechase), Louis Simmons (Discus), and the 4 x 400m team (David Clark, Dan Hunter, Will Perkin and Tim Rogers). There were U20 B string wins for Dan Hunter (400m), David Clark (1500m and triple jump) and Richard Slade (3000m).
Josh Parry had to ease in the 100m with hamstring tightness so Tim Rogers and Dan Hunter looked after the 200m as well as the 400m. Rob Hall gained a PB in the A string 3000m of 9.39.10 with Richard Slade winning the B string in 9.50.5. Louis Simmons won the discus with PB of 35.38m and was third in the shot. Peter Finn gained a PB to be third in the A string 800m and Luke Seymour scored valuable points in 800m and javelin. Kai McKenzie scored well in high jump, triple jump and B string 100m.
Under 17 men
In the U17s there were A string wins for Morgan Hiles (100m), Jake Alderson (800m), and the 4 x 400m men (Ben Layne, Jake Alderson, Seb Mills and Harry Kettle). A B string win came courtesy of Seb Mills (800m). Morgan, Ben, Harry, Jake, and Seb covered 100-1500m and Will and George Brown looked after the 3000m. Jake Alderson in high jump and Seb Mills in long jump were South Bucks only field eventers.
Under 20 women
The U20s featured A string wins from Tash Taylor (1500m) Megan Styles (triple jump), Sarah Cross (javelin) and the 4 x 400m team of Emma Delgado, Emily Smith, Tash Taylor and Hannah Thear. Megan and Rochelle Jack helped across several events. Tash Taylor doubled up with 3000m and Emma Delgado dealt with B string 400m, 800m, shot and hammer, winning the 400m and 800m. Hannah Thear (400m) and Scarlett Wager Leigh (800m) both gained A string second places and Emily Smith did well over the A string 400m hurdles to be second. Maya Bhat won B string 100m and Charlotte Bellamy was second in B string 200m.
Under 17 women
In the U17s Robyn Watkins won the A string 1500m and the 4 x 300m team of Scarlett Wager Leigh, Sandie Pohlman, Robyn Watkins and Grace Storr were also winners. Maya Bhat, Ella Merten-Mancer, Molly Durston and Louise Lyons-Appiah all did well in the flat sprints. Grace Storr, Scarlet Storr, Sandie Pohlman and Jess Orr contributed well in longer sprints, hurdles and 800m. Ana Montgomery made her UAG debut with third in the steeplechase.
