Conditions were good at Stantonbury Stadium, Milton Keynes with warm temperatures and a gentle breeze.
Highlight of the meeting for Chiltern was the men’s 800m H Race which saw both Alex Aldred, who won in 2.03.09, and Thomas Job, third in 2.04.55, achieve English Schools qualifying times for Junior (U15) boys.
The 1500m races also saw some new best times. U15 Angus Williams took three seconds off his previous best with 4.15.22 in the D Race. Richard Slade (U20) was pleased with a new best time of 4.18. 84 to be second in the E race.
Chiltern’s other 1500m runners all ran well but were just outside recently set PBs. Will Brown (U20) ran 4.27.28 in the E Race and U15s Orla Williams and Jane Williamson battled hard in the women’s D Race for 4.49.81 and 4.53.95 respectively. In-form U15 Olivia Cameron ran a brisk last lap to record 4.52.84 to win the E Race convincingly. U15 Jinaan Lockwood ran well for 5.15.48 in the G Race the final event of the evening.
