Today, Sunday 1 September, a number of Harriers completed the Maidenhead Half Marathon. They were led home by Jonathan Stoddern in a solid 1.27.15, joined swiftly by Tom Powell in 1.27.53; Hywel Thomas (1.37.45); Matt Lawrence (1.45.31) and Tamsin Finch (2.02.55).
Even closer to home, Aran Davidson won the Bovingdon Parish 10k (part of the Club’s Senior Championship), beating the course record in the process with a time of 34.09. He was followed home by: Mike Worsfold (43.12); Grant Whitaker (43.38); Ed Wright (44.59); Ruth Holroyd (52.04); Katherine Day (52.26); David Saul (52.42); Trevor Brawn (53.05) and Laura Gardner (53.55).
