We’ll kick things off this weekend with a big well done to Simon Beedell, who completed his first ever ultra marathon on Saturday 8 April. Si conquered the South Downs Way 50, a 50-mile race that takes competitors along the South Downs Way from Worthing to Eastbourne, in 6.54.53, finishing in a brilliant 4th place. Well done!
On Sunday 9 April, Kingsley Nanton and Nick Marsh completed the Flitwick 10k in 40.21 and 43.34, respectively. James Repper was a fabulous first place in the Grand Union Canal Half Marathon, with a blistering time of 1.18.55. And finally, Nick Hancock did his first ever marathon in the heat at Brighton today, clocking a very respectable time of 4.07.27, and Mark Fry completed the race in 5.04.45. Well done, both!
