With English Schools the following Friday, several Chiltern athletes invited opted not to compete to stay fresh for the more important meeting.
Tommy Davies had a good run for Bucks in the men’s A string 1500m, second in 4.14.49.
Alex Johnson ran a PB of 1.59.01 to be fourth in the A string 800m.
In the field Rhys Arnold was sixth in B string high jump with 1.65m. Millie Hughes competed in A string javelin and threw 27.51m to be seventh and in the B string hammer was fifth with a PB of 26.15m.
