That was enough to secure second place overall for the season.
Under 20 men
Morgan Hiles ran 11.4 in the A string 100m with Ben Layne 12.3 in the B string. In the 200m Tim Rogers and Ben logged 23.2 and 24.0 respectively. Tim won the A string 400m with 50.4, Michael Hall winning the B string in 57.2. Peter Finn doubled up in the 800m and 1500m, recording 2.13.7 in the 800m and 4.29.1 in the 1500m to be second in the A string in both events. Cameron Hathaway-Enright won the 800m B string with 2.14.3 and Joe Styles won the 1500m B string in 4.38.1. Morgan helped out in the A string shot and javelin and Kai McKenzie was third in high jump (1.70m). The 4 x 100m relay team of Kai, Ben, Tim and Morgan won in 46.4 and the 4 x 400m team of Peter, Ben, Tim and Myles Caddell won in 3.46.5.
Under 17 men
There was a larger presence for South Bucks amongst the U17 men. Joe Eggleton looked good in the sprints winning both 100m (equalling his PB of 11.1) and 200m (new PB of 22.2). Felix Hale ran a PB of 12.3 in the 100m, Michael Hall was second in the 200m with 24.4. Cameron Reid ran a PB of 52.5 to be second in the 400m with Harry Russell third in the B string with 55.3. Cam was also second in the A string 800m in 2.05.0 and Finn Bell was second in the B string in 2.11.4.
The 1500m saw Finn second in 4.28.7 and Hal Burtenshaw second in B string with 4.40.8. Fin Dyer ran well to be second in 300m in 10.08, and Myles Caddell and Joe Styles doubled up to achieve 1500m steeplechase wins with 5.04.4 and 5.20.3 respectively. Fraser Kilsby scored useful points in throws – winning javelin (43.35m) and third in both shot and discus. Felix Hale (5.15m) and Harry Brandon (4.50m) looked after long jump, Harry Russell (9.93m) and Felix (9.59m) the triple jump. Hal Burtenshaw scored a PB in the pole vault of 2.30m to be third and Joe Styles (1.55m) and Harry Brandon (1.50m) scored useful points in high jump. Both relay teams were second.
Under 20 women
Charlotte Bellamy scored well in the 100m and 200m. Hannah Thear won the A string 400m with Cerys Vico second in the B string. Hannah followed that up with second in the A string 800m, Soraya Lockwood securing a win in the B string. Charlotte helped with A string shot.
Under 17 women
Again the U17s were slightly better represented than their older peers. In the 200m Grace Storr was third in A string with Sian Vico second in B string. Each girl went one better in the 300m with Grace second in A string and Sian recording a win in the B string. Cerys Vico and Emma Styles were third in A and B string 800m respectively, Emily Alderson was third in 1500m and Bettina Hanlon was third in the A string 3000m and second in 1500m steeplechase. Soraya Lockwood logged a PB in 80m hurdles.
Bethany Watson kept the points ticking over in hammer, javelin and shot, and Beth Welham helped with discus and javelin.
