In fair conditions the team worked hard but had to settle for fifth, out of six, in a close fought match.
U17 Louis Greenaway was fourth in A string 100m in 11.98 and second in B string 200m in 24.52. Michael Hall looked after A string 200m, fourth in 24.18. The 400m saw an A string win and PB for Cameron Reid in 51.11. Dominic Symonds was third in B string in 55.88. The A string 800m was won by U17 Alex Aldred in 2.01.92, with Ed Watson third in B string in 2.25.82. Alex and Ed teamed up again in 1500m with Alex third in 4.30.42, Ed first in 4.52.57. Fraser Kilsby led the way in the field with a win in javelin in 40.66m, second in discus with 33.12m and second in shot with 10.18m. South Bucks were second in 4 x 100m courtesy of Michael Hall, Fraser Kilsby, Cameron Reid and Louis Greenaway, and the 4 x 400m team of Fraser, Cameron, Michael and Alex Johnson won in a good time of 3.33.35.
U17 Jemima Hay was second in A string 100m in 13.32. In 200m Sian Vico ran 26.95 for fourth in A string and Maisie Pennant ran 28.83 in the B string. The 400m saw an A string win for Sian in 62.65. There was a further A string win for Cerys Vico in 21.44 with Jinaan Lockwood winning B string in 2.37.80. Ella Peters was second in A string 1500m in 5.16.32. In the field Jemima Hay took the win in A string long jump with 5.21m. Chloe Zmuda scored great points in the throws with shot (7.42m), discus (32.20m) , javelin (30.56m) and hammer (23.90m). Th e 4 x 100m team of Jemima Hay, Maisie Pennant, Sian Vico and Hatty Bell was fourth and the 4 x 400m relay squad of Carys, Sian, Maisie and Hatty were the winning team.
James Spicer looked after A string 100m (11.90) and 200m (25.19) with Keelan Welch getting a B string 100m win (12.03) and running a 200m B string time of 25.21. Alex Johnson ran 53.14 for second in A string 400m with Luke Kempton running 59.35 in B string. In 800m Harvey Bell ran 2.06.13 for third in A string and Jacob Sanderson took a B string win in 2.09.95. Alex Johnson was second in A string 1500m in 4.12.85 with Jacob Sanderson getting another B string win in 4.26.81. Luke Martin was fourth in 3000m in 10.32.04. Finn Hobson was fifth in 100m hurdles in 16.57. Alex Mitchell was second in A string 400m hurdles in 67.59 and came back for third in 1500m steeplechase. Nick Mitchell took a second place in B string steeplechase.
The U17 men had a solid field team with Finn Hobson and Keelan Welch in long jump and Finn and Rhys Arnold in high jump. Nick Mitchell and Lewis Fee looked after discus and Lewis added shot, Nick hammer. James Spicer set a 700g javelin PB of 27.12m. The 4 x 100m team of Lewis, Keelan, Harvey and Finn were fourth, and the 4 x 400m team were third – Dominic, Harvey, Alex Aldred and Luke Kempton.
Charlotte Rigby (13.88) and Tara Offside (13.73) ran 100m, with Emily Gillespie (28.10) and Tara (27.94) looking after 200m. Emily (45.61) and Lottie Warkup (47.30) ran 300m, and there was a win in A string 800m for Kirsten Stilwell in 2.18.74. B string saw Sammi Grice fourth in 2.47.70. In 1500m Alicia Bushell (5.04.86) and Mia Caddell (5.41.88) were both second. Orla Williams won A string 3000m in a PB of 10.26.16 with Ellen Cooper winning B string in 11.31.12. Lily Holt was third in A string 80m hurdles and long jump and took a win in A string high jump with 1.64m.
Hatty Bell helped in triple jump and Millie Hughes gained useful points in javelin (27.12m), shot (8.87m) and hammer (22.57m). Hannah Wells was second in A string hammer with 42.31m, and scored a 19.64m discus. Lottie Warkup helped in B string javelin. The 4 x 100m team of Charlotte, Emily, Tara and Lily were third as were the 4 x 300m team of Emily, Lottie, Mia and Orla.
