Sunday 26th October saw the 31st staging of the annual Ricky Road Run, a popular 10 mile road race with Chiltern Harriers Seniors.
Last Thursday was the first round of the 2014/15 Round the Town series, the mild conditions helped to produce some good results, with Will Perkin equalling the U17M course record of 6.01 in his first year as an U17, Barbara Ralph also broke her own V60F course record from last year.
Chiltern Harriers had a very successful day at Wormwood Scrubs on Saturday at the South of England Cross Country Relay Championships. There were silver medals for the Under 13 Boys and Under 17 Men, and bronzes for the Under 20 Women.
On Sunday 12th October Chiltern Harriers' Seniors were in action in the popular Tring Ridgeway race - a 10 mile cross-country around the Ashridge Estate.
Chiltern Harriers got off to a very solid start in the new cross country season at Cassiobury Park, Watford on Saturday, finishing in fourth place in Division 1 in the first of the five-match series.
Chiltern Harriers Athletic Club will be staging its popular “Herbert’s Hole” cross-country event in Chesham this November to mark the 100th anniversary of two major races held in the town, and the club is appealing for information about the historic events. Entries to this year’s event are also open.
Barbara Ralph competed in the Kent Coastal Marathon on 7th September.
This little boy lost his very special and cherished teddy bear at the Shardeloes 10K.
It's a brown and white puppy which is his favourite and he is distraught without it.
