The award for fastest and highest-finishing parkrunner of the week goes, once again, to Louise Durman, who won at Brighton with a new PB of 18.32 on Saturday 29 October. Fiancé Shaun Fry also came home with a Brighton PB of 20.18. In Black Park Neil Brown and Thomas Powell decided to have a go at the lesser-known art of synchronised running, starting together and finishing seconds apart in 7th (19.49) and 8th (19.56).

Elsewhere, Hugh Beedell finished a very credible 7th in the tough Maverick trail half marathon. Despite taking a wrong turn and throwing in an extra kilometre for fun, Hugh finished in 1.47.01. Good work!
On Sunday 30 October David Saul took part in the River Thames Half Marathon, clocking 1.51.35. A little closer to home a number of Harriers were supporting local 10-mile race ‘The Ricky Road Run’. Nathan Taylor was first home in 1.04.28. Kate Loach was first in her category (FV55) in 1.13.16, which was age-graded at 81.41%. Well done guys!
