But before I go any further, a quick (belated) mention for Dave Howells, who completed the 'All Nations 10k' at Eton Dorney last week, in a very respectable 40.08.
Allan Stewart was also in action on the track, taking part in the awesome 'Night of the 10,000m PBs' at Highgate Harriers. Allan finished 2nd in his heat in 32.05.
In parkrun news, on Saturday 19 May there were all-time PBs for: Luke and Glen Martin (19.30 and 20.54, respectively, at Northala Fields); Miriam Kempson (25.36 in Cardiff) and Harriet Lemon (25.56 at Cassiobury Park). With a bit of good fortune, I was first lady at Wycombe Rye (20.46).

Sliding up the distance scale, Grace Birch completed her first 10k race in a while on Saturday, finishing the RunThrough Hyde Park 10k in 50.37. Good to see you back, Grace!
Sliding yet further up the scale, to the ultra end, Dave Bellamy completed the North Downs Way 50 mile, the second race in Centurion Running’s 50 mile grand slam series. Dave completed the course, which included an ascent of Box Hill, in 10.20.15. Meanwhile, Down Under the Family Trimmer were flying the flag for Chiltern Harriers in the Ultra-Trail Australia in the Blue Mountains. Jamie kicked things off by finishing 2nd in his age group in the Pace UTA22 (featuring 1300m of climb) on Friday 18 May. The next day Carolynn completed her first ever 100k, finishing in 17.55, and picking up a silver buckle for her efforts; whilst Jason added a gold buckle to his collection, with a time of 13.20. Well done to our ultra-fantastic ultra runners!
