It’s been a busy weekend for Chiltern Harriers AC. Only a short parkrun update for you this weekend: there was a first-placed finish for Kate Loach in Cassiobury Park (21.10) and a debut for Nick Arthurton (Tring Park – 27.51) yesterday, Saturday 8 June.
And finally, somewhat closer to home, Miriam Kempson came home 2ndfemale sole runner in the Henley Running Festival 24 hour event. Miriam showed grit and determination to cover 144km (90 miles, or the equivalent of 18 laps) over the course of 24.49.58. Well done, Miriam! Hopefully that red wine is tasting pretty good right now (or that pillow…)
Results of the Chiltern Chase and Hazlemere Super 5 are pending.
WHILE YOU’RE HERE check out the latest update of the Chiltern Way Consultation (implementation of recommendations coming out of the survey results).
