Frankie Baxter continued her excellent season with a bronze medal in the U13 girls race, leading home the Bucks team, that included two other Chiltern scorers, to team bronze.
Frankie was always well-placed in the U13 girls race and battled hard to fight off a challenge near the end to hold onto third. Lesedi Nkoane in 24th and Maddie Hughes in 39th ran well and the scoring four was completed by Milton Keynes’ Madelaine Pearce. Also running in the Bucks team from Chiltern were Marea Logan (128th), Hannah Ashby (156th) and Ellie Shield (258th).
The Bucks U15 girls scoring four were all Chiltern girls. Abbie Henderson (24th), Holly Henderson (40th), Alicia Bushell (75th), and Alice Brown (149th) combined to finish 14th from the forty counties taking part.
Thomas Redmond had a very good run to finish 11th and lead home the Bucks U13 boys team. Also in the scoring four were Alden Collier (50th) and Oakley Denson (71st). Finishing as fifth Bucks runner was Max Baxter in 111th. The team were eighth.
Chiltern were again well represented in the U15 boys team. Louis Peterson (92nd), Ben Jackson (115th), and Luke Martin (204th) were the second, third and fourth scorers, and Cormac Nisbet (239th), Laurie Gawne (259th) and Jamie Carruthers (283rd) also took part. The team were 24th.
Ella Peters had a great run in the U17 women’s race to be second Bucks scorer in 102nd place. Will Brown was 166th in the U20 men’s race. Nick Hughes was the sole Chiltern senior athlete taking part, finishing in 183rd place, third Bucks scorer, in the senior men’s race.
